Private Charters can enter Belize on August 15

Confirmed by the Prime Minister of Belize, private charters of planes would be able to enter Belize for leisure travel, but will be subject to screening like everyone else entering Belize. This will also be available on August 15, 2020 with the Philip Goldson International Airport (BZE) reopening. All travellers will be required to present a negative PCR test result, taken within 72 hours prior to arrival. Additionally, will be subject to a mandatory temperature checks at the airport; numerous sanitising procedures; and agreement to adhere to a track and trace system. The beautiful irony of Belize is that it is one of the most accessible private charter destinations in the Western Hemisphere. Yet, it is also one of the most remote. For more detailed information on entry requirements to Belize, click here.

Arriving travelers can either present a negative PCR test result, taken within the last 72 hours to arrival, or pay for a rapid test within the airport at the traveler’s expense.
